Category Description:
The real I-275 overpass along Roundbottom Road is a convenient railfanning spot as westbound trains round a gentle bend before passing under the interstate. A private drive has enough space to park safely and turn around to watch the passing train.

On the Peavine Division, I’m taking full advantage of the overpass. It will actually be a dual purpose bridge. On the front portion of the lower level, I will model two spans and they will represent the northbound and southbound lanes of I-275. The northbound lane will run into the backdrop. The southbound lane will extend across the opening to the staging yard. The staging yard on this end of the layout is Sharon Yard, and the bridge will represent Glendale Milford Road on the south end of Sharon Yard. That bridge has only one span.
